From high-profile cultural precincts to local civic upgrades, our work is defined by quality, care, and a collaborative approach to delivery. Explore a selection of recent projects below.

Luna Park Precinct Upgrade

Client: City of Port Phillip
Value: $5,600,000
Scope: Stormwater infrastructure, hostile vehicle mitigation, custom paving, landscaping, lighting

Working in one of Melbourne’s busiest cultural precincts, TDL delivered upgrades to the Luna Park and Palais Theatre forecourts while events, gigs, and festivals continued to run almost nightly. The team coordinated over 100 live events at the Palais, including one week where 35,000 people visited the site during school holidays.

Key outcomes included custom stormwater infrastructure, sensitive transplanting of nine mature palms, and reinstating Luna Park’s historic Mr. Moonbeam paving motif. Hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) was integrated discreetly using precast blocks, in-situ walls, and bollards designed to protect pedestrians against 60km/h impacts.

Delivered on time and within 0.02% of budget, the project set a benchmark for delivering high-profile civic works without compromising community access or heritage intent.
